Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Review

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Review, Return of the arcade classic now on Nintendo Switch, Heres our review of this classic Bubble Bobble 4 Friends.

About the game

The cute dragons Bub and Bob are back! Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is the latest game in the Bubble Bobble series from Taito.

Play alone or with up to 3 friends in co-op mode and jump your dragons through 100 levels to defeat the wicked magician Bonner and his henchmen. The bubbles don’t just let you trap your opponents, either – your dragons can also jump on them to reach higher platforms.

Collect E-X-T-E-N-D bubbles to activate and upgrade skills, such as lightning and bomb bubbles. Develop countless new strategies to travel through the worlds and take advantage of air currents.

Gameplay

With the current situation and being in lockdown, Gameplay and enjoyment is everything and with not much of an evening to keep the children entertained and the chances of all-out war in the household, I am open to anything that keeps them from armageddon and Bubble Bobble is a very good answer with the ability to have the kids play in co-op or just get them to play on the own this game hits the mark.

As an older player, I myself found the game highly engaging and entertaining with each level making think how to overcome it to the extent that I was saying just one more level which ended up being 10 later.

The Gameplay itself is simply not over-complicated that made it easy for even the smallest of households to be able to play and not get frustrated even though some levels need a bit of help.

However there is no online play, which would have been good to see.

Graphics

The graphics in the game of this style are what I expected and follow on from the classic original with a cartoon style and simple design to each level making it pleasing on the eye, but also engaging. the appeal to this style of the is for the young but even the old and the graphics work well.

Longevity

With expansion DLC pack free later in the year this is going to help on the long term front, with currently only 100 levels the more skilled gamer is going to find the normal game a bit on the short side however it is going to make you replay the game in the future from a score point, I mean whose does not like going for the high score.

And with the bonus that the original Arcade Bubble Bobble is included there is more than enough to keep you going.

Price

its current price £35.99 on the Nintendo shop, some might say this is a bit on the steep side. However, I need to disagree slightly here and I will explain.

The game is complete no bugs no issues which is rare in itself considering the AAA titles normally need massive updates from day 1,

This game will give you hours of entertainment and peace if you let the kids play.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Review

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Review – is a fun entertaining game that is suitable for all members of the family to play and enjoy. Which is going to make it an instant classic and shows that the old school themes still stand up today against AAA titles, Add this one to your collection and you won’t be disappointed and free DLC coming later in the year makes this a good deal for Bubble Bobble 4 Friends.
